About Us

Hi friends!

Christina, founder of Wicked Rose here. When I first set out to create Wicked Rose, I didn't realize how much women in martial arts needed a brand just for them. Sure, there are brands that offer women's options, but the clothing is ill-fitting and the designs they offer can be super unappealing.

I don’t want you to have to worry about your butt showing mid-training because your spats have been pulled down, or because they’re see-through. I don’t want you to have to worry about your rash guard riding up, or being choked out by the u-neck on your rash guard. I don’t want you to have to worry that the slit on your Muay Thai shorts is too wide and you’re flashing your training partners. I want you to train comfortably, confidently, and effectively, in gear that makes you feel unstoppable. I want Wicked Rose to be a place where you can come to feel represented. I want to create activewear that you're excited to wear to the gym, that's high-quality, and that helps rather than hinders your movement.

With these goals in mind, I've built Wicked Rose. I'm proud to say that all of our clothing is manufactured in Langley, BC, in a woman-owned manufacturing company, and that our shipping materials are eco-friendly. The polymailers that we use for shipping are 100% compostable and made of corn, our clothing tags are plantable (they grow wildflowers!), and the custom tissue paper and stickers that your orders are wrapped in are FSC certified and printed on acid-free paper (with soy-based inks).

Finally, when it comes to our values at Wicked Rose, we prefer to be upfront about things. We'll show you our values with our actions, but we'll also lay them out here so that you know exactly where we stand. As a company, and as individuals, we support Black Lives Matter, the LGBTQIA2S+ community, Indigenous rights, sex workers, and equality of access.

We will not stand for racism, sexism, homophobia, or ableism in our community. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there is something that we can do better. Call us out if we fall short - because we want to create a space where everyone feels welcome.

Thanks for joining us, we're excited to have you along for the ride!
